Dr. Cahoon has served as an assistant professor and Associate Department Chair in the Nurse Anesthesia Department at Samford University since 2003. Prior to entering the education role, she served as an anesthesia clinician since 1994. Her current clinical practice is with Anesthesia Resources Management in Birmingham and at Children's Hospital South in Birmingham. Her primary areas of interest are pharmacology, pediatric anesthesia, simulation use in anesthesia, and teaching and evaluating non-technical skills of the novice anesthesia provider.

Dr. Fiedler has served as a university faculty member, department chair, and anesthesia clinician since 1986. His chief areas of interest are evidence based practice, clinical problem solving, risk reduction, and clinical research. He is an adjunct associate professor, continuing education lecturer, and author of journal articles and book chapters. In 2006 he founded Lifelong Learning, LLC, a professional education company and publisher of Anesthesia Abstracts.

Ms. Fields has been a partner in Riverview Anesthesia since 2007. She is active in the Alabama Assocaition of Nurse Anesthetists. Ms. Fields has worked at a a 115 bed community hospital as a partner in Riverview Anesthesia since 2007. She works in both the Anesthesia Care Team model and as the solo anesthesia provider. She worked as a healthcare consultant from 2000-2005. She is active in the Alabama Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

Dr. Golinski is an Assistant Professor at Wayne State University, Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and the Chief CRNA at Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She has served (2004-2006) as Director of Region 3 for the AANA as well as Treasurer for the AANA (2006-2007).

Dr. Larson is the CRNA Director of Cardiovascular Anesthesia Services at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet, Illinois, and a clinical instructor for the Evanston Northwestern School of Nurse Anesthesia. She is a former Chairman of the Illinois Association of Nurse Anesthetists Government Relations Committee, and was recently nominated by the AANA to serve as a consultant to a committee within the Department of Health and Human Services. She is a member of the AANA's ongoing Closed Claims working group. Her contributions to Anesthesia Abstracts focus predominantly on cardiovascular and thoracic anesthesia.

Steve Wooden has been managing partner of two rural anesthesia groups since 1982, serving multiple rural facilities. He is currently practicing in east central Nebraska. He has served as Chairman of the Nebraska State Board of Health and in 2008 was appointed to the Nebraska Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Board.
